Changed starter and nothing? Now what?

Changed starter and nothing? Now what?

Changed starter in 05 civic dx and now its not starting.I am only getting a clicking noise when hitting the key.I checked all the connections and everything is clean and tight,battery is new.after I put on the new starter it started 2 times and now only clicking.What do I check now?

The fuses are good? You lubed up all your connections with dielectric grease?

The fuses are good,didnt use grease but did clean all connections and made sure all were tight.

I'll SWAG yours may have a poor connection somewhere between the battery positive post and the starter (the large cable).

Testing?

Thanks for the help guys got it figured out,after taking the new starter back to have it checked turns out the starter they gave me was junk.
