I have a buzzing noise starting after i turn on the car. It won't start until i put my E-Brake down. Once i disengage my E-Brake it starts buzzing from the steering column or gauge cluster. To get it to stop i have to turn on my Headlights. I am about to put in some HID's and I would rather not have to burn the bulbs during the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds to me like your drl module is buzzing if you search there is a diy fix for this somewhere

Ya its the DRL module. Use that link above. I have a question about which solder to use on the circuit board? I bought clear flux solder. Will that work right or do I buy a different kind ?

thanks guy's. I won't have a vehicle inspection anytime soon so i have just removed the module for the meantime. I will get to soddering it and put it back in when i get a chance but for now i don't really need DRL's.

60/40 rosin core solder is best bet.

Look for the black rings around the relay pins

Agreed. Use 60/40 rosin core solder and get one of these: to remove the old solder so you can make a clean new connection.

In case mine can't be fixed for whatever reason I might just replace the module. I was given the part number 38260-SM4-C03. Is that correct ? Not sure if that's the relay or the module. Thanks
