Heyo,

I have a 2003 Honda Civic and the trunk release doesn't work but the fuel door DOES open. So is it that the cable is still connected at the driver's door but not connected to my trunk since the fuel door still works?

I'm trying to fix this stuff on my own and I didn't want to buy the wrong repair kit. I have never fixed anything on a car but I'm sure I can fix it if it's just the repair kit thing I need. I haven't found anyone with this exact problem online yet...

Will the lever move up as it should (not locked) ??

If it does... have someone work the trunk lever as you watch at the trunk latch for movement of the cable.
