I have the CEL light on in my 2004 Civic LX. I borrowed an OBD2 reader to get the code (P1457). I changed the gas cap which has not worked and I want to take a look at the hoses on the charcoal canister. The problem is I can't find it! Can someone tell me where it is located? A pic would be awesome but a description of its location would be really great also.

I believe it is on top of the back side of the fuel tank. If you just want to put eyes on it jack it up, put it on stands and shine a light up there. I think you can see and maybe feel around to see if a hose is busted. The purge valve is up near the engine, so a long path for a leak there too.

It's next/behind the drivers side rear tire wheel well. Basically next to the fuel tank. Very easy to find when you look. Link below show's parts diagram. Piece #12 is the charcoal canister.
