Throttle response problem 07 SI
Throttle response problem 07 SI
Hey guys I have an 07 Civic Si and i have a minor accelerating issue. The problem mostly happens when i am in traffic. My car feels like its going to stall when i am balancing the clutch at 1000-1500 rpms which shouldnt happen. Or if i rev it in nuetral it will hesitate and then rev. This problem only happens sometimes and mostly in stop and go traffic. Any ideas on what this problem is?

Re: Throttle response problem 07 SI
well the throttle pedal is computer controled (no cable) so yes there will be a small lag when pressing it. i believe there is a company that has a solution to this issue. but if you have idle issues it could be the IAC valve is just dirty (the sensor bolted to the throttle body with coolant lines feeding it) and not able to respond fast enough so the idle drops down for a second.
