So I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX, I carry alot of tools in the trunk and it's starting to droop in the rear. So, shocks or coils? What do I need to get the *** end up to take the 300Ilbs?

Also Got a 2001 honda civic lx with a 4 speed auto, the trans just went out on it and I can't find a replacement anywhere near Tacoma. I don't wanna spend more that $400 for it and have a friend that can swap it. But I have no clue wtf the transmission model is....at lease with my ford I know its a AOD whatever model.

Also , the Honda is the base engine, SOHC non-vtec, someone said I should bolt a '03 transmission up to it instead, is this transmission compatible? is it just a bolt on and go?

Any 01-05 automatic trans will work, I'd stick with an LX trans but an EX would work too, the only difference is the EX has shorter gear ratios so the RPM's run a little higher, most noticeable on the freeway.

Can't help you with the other problem, shocks wouldn't do anything though, you need stiffer springs that don't lower the car.

upgrade the shocks. factory only rated like 200lbs aftermarket are ushally over 300
