Re: New Fuel Pump
Are you just listening for noise, or are you actually checking for fuel flow or pressure? I hardly ever actually notice (hear) the pumps run.
Got ground? It sure won't run without it.
If you have power AND ground at the pump connector on top of the tank unit, then you are going to be yanking the pump out.
In the tank unit connector, the pump wires are laid out like
1 2 3
.4 5
yel/grn, terminal #5 (pump B+)
Black, terminal #4 (pump Gnd)
#3 is empty
#2 is for the gauge sending unit
#1 is ground for the sending unit
The grounds are bolted to the floor rail under the front edge of the passengers seat.
Rodents like to chew on wires.
If you can smack the bottom of the tank, maybe that would jolt a bad pump to life long enough to drive into the garage. This is a super quick test that confirms a dead pump, if it works.
If it helps nothing, then you only wasted like 30 seconds on it.
Works on GMs rather often.

Re: New Fuel Pump
Nothing like OEM. You can get it through Honda but, you have to buy the whole assembly. $325 at the dealer, $225 online. It's recommended to replace the whole assembly because the strainer and filter get clogged over time. Or you could get just the pump at http://www.rockauto.com/ Recommend DENSO (OEM manufacturer) at $113. The local parts store should have it for about that price too.
Re: New Fuel Pump
Turns out it wasn't the fuel pump after all. There is power going to fuel gauge but not the fuel pump. There is also no power going to the fuel pump relay behind the glove box. I have checked the fuse and it's good.
Any ideas on what could be keeping power from getting to the fuel pump relay?

Re: New Fuel Pump
Ummm not off the top of my head...
Swap relays?
Understand exactly what a relay does, and how a relay works.
Understand how to test the relay and all of the circuits involved with it.
LIVE testing.
Get a wiring diagram.
Test.
