I also proclaimed carrying this Honda to atleast 200k mi. wanted that to happen before the last tranny rebuilt. its not there just yet!!!!!!. I think i am in love with this Honda Civic ???? i just cant seem to let it go? At one time there were indeed so many damn issues with it, i just took it one by one and as money became available invested to have it repaired piece by piece.
upon the suggestion by "GEARBOX" regarding changing tranny fluid I was seriously curious about using " Valvoline High Mileage Tranny Fluid" and while i changed it JUST this ONE TIME, I wanna say it extended the life of my tranny by i'd say about 4k-5k mi. I m not so sure if having done that helped/made it worse but yes indeed it was the very first time i ever dared change the tranny fluid.
FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON U FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME.
DONT EVER GET FOOLED A THIRD TIME. its just DEVASTATING.
my loving 7th Gen Honda Tranny has been thru a lot.

I worried about $$$$ spent on this car? i still keep spending on it for now, i am fully invested in the car!!!!!
every tranny re-built runs me upto 30k mi & I will know when its time to quit.
if u also remember my goal of carrying my car upto 200k mi?????
Just added 4 new General tires brand spanking new to the car!!!!!. love my car way too much i think
