A/C Valve

Does a 03 Civic EX have a valve for the temperature adjustment? Similar to this one.

It is in post #6. Sorry I had to post from the Honda Odyssey forum, but I couldn't get just the picture to post.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: A/C Valve

Open the damn hood and look!

Engine compartment, very close to the firewall where the heater hoses go through.

Was this helpful?

Yeah. It was helpful, thanks. The hood has been open as I am doing some work. Rotors pads and brake fluid flush.

Re: A/C Valve

The only adjustments available are to tighten the ball valve screw that is covered in green or the cable slack adjustment that can be seen to the left where the cable is clamped to the bracket.

Re: A/C Valve

Turn the temp **** to full cold and the arm on the valve should be at 90* to the valve body. Turn the temp **** to full hot and the arm should be directly centered with hose connection.
Check for excessive movement at both full hot and cold settings and adjust accordingly.
