Question about part price difference: which part should I purchase

Check this out....looking at part #19 and #20 on the diagram:

http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index...REAR+LOWER+ARM

Why such a price difference? I've done a little google searching to no avail.

What gives?

Ah, excellent idea. Heading in this weekend to have driver seat belt latch replaced. I'll ask them and report back.

Re: Question about part price difference: which part should I purchase

actually, i found these in the autozone site:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par.../N-jkii1Z8koh2

seems to be difference between 2-4 door?
not sure, they should have had different part numbers them...
asking the dealer might give you a more complete answer...

Re: Question about part price difference: which part should I purchase

Just for giggles, I looked it up.....

03 EX 4door A/T

I see a choice for US/Canada built, or Japan built, for each sensor.

Your internet catalog didn't explain the difference in price, and I sure can't tell you what the part difference is.
Maybe if you looked it up by VIN, it would have eliminated the choices? The factory catalog works that way.

MSRP, not internet prices...

57470-S5A-952 R. RR. $138.90 (Japan)
57470-S5D-952 R. RR. $41.60 (US/Cn)
57475-S5A-951 L. RR. $138.90 (Japan)
57475-S5D-951 L. RR. $42.48 (US/Cn)

Knowing your VIN# would help narrow this down, but this should answer your question.

Re: Question about part price difference: which part should I purchase

ezone found it, I have seen other parts done the same way (like the crappy stock jack)

I was thinking the more $$ were possibly made in Japan, and cheaper parts somewhere else ??

Word up. And even the autozone parts vary in price and say:
Japan model (VIN begins with J)
U.S. model (VIN begins with 1, 4 or 5)

I'll have to start using the VIN. Stupid error.

Thanks for your help man. (Again!)
