Re: 02 Civic alignment
"Green" is not what I want to see or hear.
"Green" is only relevant to someone that can't read an alignment.
"Green" doesn't mean there aren't any problems.
Conversely, "not green" does not necessarily equate to "bad" or "broke".
So for your current and apparently ongoing complaint, saying it was "in the green" is worthless, because without seeing the actual values I cannot determine if the alignment is within reason.
You paid for a wheel alignment, you still have a complaint, so I want to see the results of the work done.
When did it start pulling? After hitting a curb or pothole? After letting the kids drive it?
Was the suspension inspected prior to the alignment? Bushings?
The "alignment machine" is designed so that it can be used by monkeys that don't know anything about the science behind the work, but have enough warm brain cells to follow a bouncing ball. Thus the "green" and "red" numbers.
I can make almost anything read "in the green" if I have to.
It can be handy because I know I am one of the few that can do an alignment without any specs. I can snow the other techs and managers if I have to.
I am the only one in my shop that can look at a set of numbers and tell if it might pull or not (this is known as "reading" an alignment sheet), and if one should be looking for causes of a pull other than an alignment.
The "alignment machine" cannot do many things, like check tire pressures or check for worn or damaged suspension parts. It is only a tool, and as such, should be used by someone with a working brain.
------------------------------------------
I would want to drive the car to verify your complaint. Too many variables are possible. The complaint itself is subjective.
Maybe it doesn't pull at all.
Maybe your expectations are unrealistic.
Maybe the steering wheel isn't centered and you don't know what else to call it.
Maybe it only pulls East.
Maybe it has other obvious problems that would scream to a competent tech, but the user is oblivious to them.
Maybe it only pulls on hard acceleration.
Maybe it pulls to the left (turn off Rush Limbaugh)
Maybe it has one low tire.
Maybe it has mis-matched tires.
I have to evaluate what I feel during the test drive, then maybe do some work, maybe drive it again if I made any changes.
I want to see the actual alignment numbers, then I can decide if the alignment is within reason. And if one should look elsewhere for a pull.

Re: 02 Civic alignment
mine sheet have several red - i have my custom alignment numbers.
tony cleck, if they install that all medical diagnosys are to be done by internet and you only can describe the symtoms in words, would you trust it if it says that yer terminal patient?
internet diagnosis only works if you have slight mechanical knowledge to better.
ye do not qualifiy, i am afraid.
go to another alignment shop and get second opinion.
