Another Overheating Thread!

Well guys Long story short.
On a roadtrip the Cooling fan decided to blow up and put a hole in the radiator. ok so we patched the radiator and made it home. I just recently put a new fan in and it worked good no over heating when idling. I thought everything was fixed.

Today im driving a buddy home when i notice the temp jut about at H so i pull over and let it cool. I have noticed that the Fan isnt kicking in anymore. i checked the fuse its all good but i dont know how to test relays?
or what else could be the problem?
what is this fan switch people talk about?
any insight would be appreciated.
thanks!

Sure!

Honk your horn a few times, does it work?
Now swap the cooling fan relay with the horn relay.
Honk the horn again a few times, does it still work? (If yes, they're probably both good, if the horn no longer works, it's definitely a bad relay... I'd keep it in the horn socket until you get the new part).

If that isn't the culprit, it is possible the Radiator Fan Switch is broken (it's mounted in the thermostat housing). Also ensure no wires were damaged when the fan blew up.
