Exclamation Spunn Rod what now?

ok so i have a 2001 civic lx 4d manual....what should i do now do a swap right ? well local mechanic shop wants $2500 for a swap f*&k that and takes them 5 days.. me and a buddy could do it in a weekend but what type of engine should i get ? i dont want to spend to much money on a k swap so i was thniking either going with vtech or jus the 1.7 it was already in. but if i do go with the vtech what will i need to go with it also?

If you dont want to pay, you cant play. Power costs money. The fact that you wont use the search button to find your answer worries me that you wont be able to do an engine swap. You should replace with the exact same engine if you want the cheapest and worry free install out there.

You cant just change engines like you change the laces on your shoes.
