2005 Honda Civic EX Noise from Engine
2005 Honda Civic EX Noise from Engine
Lately I'm hearing some kind of noise from my engine while driving like a motor spinning. I don't hear anything when its in parking or in neutral, When I go above 25 mph then it will start making noise (like a lawn mower but not so loud; kinda low-toned, couldn't find a better description). It had an oil change recently and in inspection they found that belts requires attention but its not a serious problem. I'm thinking of going to any dealer, any suggestions on where the problem might be?
Re: 2005 Honda Civic EX Noise from Engine
Gotta be more descriptive. Can you take a video? Can you take a good of the belts? I doubt that's it but, could be. Is the oil level ok? Any driveability problems? Scan it for codes, you never know (Autozone and most parts stores will do it for free).
And finally, you're much better off taking it to the independent Honda mechanic in your area than going to the dealer.
