Cracked exhaust manifold

Cracked exhaust manifold
Took my car in for inspection, and my mechanic (a trusted friend) told me my exhaust manifold is cracked. So, my question is can I just replaced the manifold/cat with a header? Is it a direct bolt-on or would I have to have something fabricated? Also if someone could show me what header would be compatible as a bolt on I'd appreciate it. I'm not concerned about not having a cat.
