Exclamation HELP!!!! Shifting Problem
Hello everyone

I have a problem I believe its a transmission problem but need help..
When i shift to third and have the gas pedal down the car is fine but when I let go of the pedal the shift slips off third.. thats the only gear it slips off on anyone had this problem or may know what to do ... please reply thanx....

Sounds like your third gear synchro is going bad

Replacing a synchro/3rd gear would involve removing your transmission and dismantling it...so, yes

Do a tranny fluid change. It may fix the problem temporarily
