Question Timing Belt Wisconsin

I'm a college student and I don't have a ton of cash. I don't think I can do the timing belt/water pump myself. Does anyone know of any really cheap places to have it done in Wisconsin? Specifically around milwaukee though I do travel around. Thanks a lot. Big help.

Re: Timing Belt Wisconsin

What year/model/trim package is it?

Sorry, not familiar with there, but look around for small shops. Usually they have much cheaper labor prices, but make sure they will guarantee and stand by their work..

Cartalk's website used to have a mechanic search by area feature.

Ok so here's what I did - got really lucky. Posted on craigslist b/c I can't afford (college) to have a shop do it for like 400 so one guy is willing to help me/teach me how for free! Super nice. If that doesn't work, there's another guy that's certified and willing to do it for like 130. Both I buy the parts Wish me luck... going to try it at the end of April.

^I would consider having someone around in the house while working in your garage to check up on you. Im sure you've seen the craigslist scams where people rip you off in the end. But wow thats a great deal if it works out for you!
