02 civic ex wants to go back to Stock headlights. Need advise on Bulb connection
So i bought a used 02 civic with hid projector headlights on it. The driver side bulb is not working right so i want to go back to stock head lights. The bulbs used are H1 bulbs. I have 2 new replacement stock head lights with 2 H4 bulbs. The car has a blue plug that goes into the H1 bulb and a black ground wire that just plugs on the side. The H4 bulb has 3 metal ends instead of the 1 metal end the H1 has. Do i need to get new wiring to plug into the H4 bulbs, or can i just plug the two clips into the H4 bulb, leaving one exposed? Please HELP.

technically you should still have the original factory h4 plugs with three holes somewhere in the car. the aftermarket headlights plug into the h4 connector on one side and converts into an h1 for the lights. so trace back the wiring a bit and i bet you can simply unplug the adapter harness for the old light.
