Hey everyone im having a problem with my tranny. it makes this noise when the car is at higher idle but when i press on the clutch it goes away. I went to a mechanic because im not the best mechanic and not much tools, he told me it was the bearing that have gone bad. so he quoted me around 115 in parts and the rest labor ordered from honda. also told me that there can be other things messed up when he opens up the tranny like clutch life or sync. The total he said he would do it for 640 including parts and this is a "friend". i was wondering if u guys think that is a reasonable price.

To pull the tranny FOR you, AND overhaul it? id say its reasonable....
