Bent Valve?

Bent Valve?
Got an 01 Civic EX that likes to make a ticking/knocking noise at idle. She also idles a little rough sometimes too. Is there anything else beside a bent valve that would be causing this?
If I could fix this myself that'd be great, otherwise I'm just looking to get a heads up before I take it to Honda.
