Center console latch

*Sorry if there is already a thread for this topic, I searched the entire 7th gen forum and had no luck with results.*

When I opened my center console last night, the plastic latch snapped off near the screws. I've always had issues with my console (either it is misaligned or just too tight, doesn't always like to open), but the darn thing finally snapped off. It is so annoying to rest my gear-shifting arm on the armrest now because it bounces with every small bump.

I was wondering if anyone knew a cheap place to find a replacement latch. I am afraid to call the dealership to find out how much it costs. Also, if this is a typical issue (brittle plastic from summer heat?), would it be hard (or a bad idea) to replace with a salvaged/used latch?

I have tan interior, if anyone can help me out.

Re: Center console latch

I'm pretty sure you can get a replacement at a local junkyard

Just have the dealer order it for you, Honda parts are fairly priced.
