Clunking sound front left
I've got a 02 Civic LX - it's a four door 5 spd - I've noticed in the past day or so a clunking sound when I go over some small pot holes. Suggestions on what it is? Is it something I can repair myself?

Maybe struts, maybe CV joint boot. I had a mad clunking/rattling noise, replaced struts, all went away.

Stop hitting pot holes first off. And it could be your strut or ball joint.

Lower control arm bushings is my guess. Take a picture of your wheel-well, suspension with the tire off.
