Need a tranny for my 01 SI.
From scrap yards, tranny for a base model are cheaper and easy to find than VTEC, Canada mkt, (SI). Whats the difference?
M.T., (1.7L, SOHC), base
M.T., (1.7L, SOHC), VTEC, U.S. mkt, HX
M.T., (1.7L, SOHC), VTEC, Canada mkt, (SI)
M.T., (1.7L, SOHC), VTEC, U.S. mkt, EX

EX (Si in Canada) have shorter gear ratios, meaning runs higher RPM - I believe that was it, never had other models with MT. might require more work to swap? not sure
