Noise from left front wheel area
Noise from left front wheel area
Hi folks, need a little mechanical help here
2003 Civic DX Automatic
There’s a click (tock) type of noise coming from the left front wheel area (driver’s side). This occurs when I turn right and when I brake. I changed the driveshaft (CV joint) but that didn’t fix the problem. My left front wheel is also excessively worn in the inner side.
Could it be a bushing, the steering rack, a need for an alignment, etc.?
Noise is one single click/tock... not a tock tock tock like when a CV joint needs replacement.
The car drives straight, doesn't pull to left or right at all.
Thanks guys and girls

Re: Noise from left front wheel area
Hmm... Possibly a toast lower control arm bushing(Compliance bushing). Otherwise, take it to a GOOD alignment shop to get an alignment done. They will tell you what's wrong with it before they align it.
