05 Civic A/C Issues

05 Civic A/C Issues
Took a road trip for Memorial Day and had an issue with the A/C at speed.
When I hit about 70+ MPH the engine temp would creep up to just over the half point then the A/C would blow warm. Back off the speed and the engine temp would drop below half way point and A/C would blow cold again. It was very consistent. The shop is baffled. Thanks in advance for any help.
