03' coupe LX

has anyone had issues with there fuel pressure or running lean? seems like thats what it is. runs fine but after half throttle it stops pulling. i took the fuel sending unit out of the tank and looked at it. the mesh filter at the bottom was clean but no one has the non-removable filter built in to the housing. its like $150 plus from honda but i cant find it anywhere else. ive talked with the honda dealer and he told me it could be the map sensor or a vacume line. but i have no codes and i checked the lines. i have yet to check the fuel pressure thats my next step. if the psi is low than i will start with the fuel pressure regulator in the tank. im also looking in to injector cleaning. i read you need to get it done every 30k and ive never done it. so maby thats some if it. im at 84k right now and ive done a full tune up as well. any help?

How did the problem start? Did it start all of a sudden or was it gradual?

well i was unable to drive the car and so my parents had the car for almost 10 months and they didn't use it vary often. long enough to let the battery go completely dead. so i think the fuel might of varnished or spoiled and after i got back and drove the car it had hesitation. i've run seafoam and all kinds of crap through the car. its had this prob for almost a year. i recently ran seafoam through the one vacuum line thats going to the map sensor and that helped a lill bit but idk. this week i'm going to use my day off to check the fuel pressure.

Ya I would start with the fuel pressure, but remember pressure can be good but volume may still be low. If the car sat that long its very possible it could be low volume to the motor. What motor is in your car 1.7 Vtec? I am a ASE tech and as far as the 30K injector cleaning I have never seen it being necessary or becoming a problem. The MAP sensor is a good possibility, but without a good scanner to look at the output of the sensor it makes it hard to be sure.

Check you spark plugs to see how the spark is.

I was going through alot of problems for a good amount of time so maybe something in here could help you.
