Weird issue with turn signals

This is on a 04 EX coupe. I've been having intermittent issues with my turn signals and the fuse blowing in the interior fuse box for about a week now.
I don't think it's a physical short because as soon as the turn signal fuse pops, you can turn on the hazards and they work fine and all bulbs will blink. Also, the fise popping is totally random. I put a fuse in and it popped as soon as I turned on the right blinker. I then immediately replaced the fuse and tured on the right blinker again and it worked fine for 15 minutes. At this point, it sounds like the turn signal switch itself having issues. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas.

Re: Weird issue with turn signals

the hazards use a separate circuit from the turn signal switch. it seems like a switch issue, or possibly a problem in the bulb socket where the wires are crossing over depending if the car bumps them a certain way maybe.

Re: Weird issue with turn signals

^^^ how are they separate ?? (if you unplug the hazard switch the turn signals won't work)

Exactly what fuse is blowing when this happens ??

Any recent electrical work or options added to the car or wiring changes ??

Re: Weird issue with turn signals

i think it uses a different flasher circuit or something. i may be wrong, i thought i remember something like that from the electrical manual. it so that if something happens to the turn signal switch, the hazards still function normally.
