Hi

recently the two tail lights have stopped working on my 2002 civic and i changed the bulbs and they still didnt work. its not the switch with the brakes as the top light above the rear window still works, could this be that the fuse has gone???

I have been looking in the fuse boxes but cant identify which one is for the rear brake lights. I havent got the manual so cant check in there i have been also looking over the internet and have found a manual but still cant figure it out.

If any one can help that would be great

Do your reverse lights work? Rear blinkers?

Or is it just the brake lights that don't work?

"as the top light above the rear window still works" Sounds like brake lights ?

If that light is working the the fuse and the switch are o.k.

Sounds like an open connection at a junction connecter.

Other people have posted this same problem and no on returns with a solution. guess they are all driving around with 1 brake light.

Trace the WHT/BLK wires back from the bulbs to the open connection and repair it.
