auto tranny issue and steering issue
auto tranny issue and steering issue
is it normal for an auto trans to down shift when your slowing down with your breaks? Mine will sometimes do this and didnt know if this is a normal thing or if i need to have it looked at.
also i can not get my steering wheel to stop shaking. i have had my tires rotated and balanced and still nothing, i also had them check for a bent wheel and they look good. any thoughts?
Thanks

yeah its the stupid "grade logic" built into newer trans. it will only downshift if you are pressing the brakes going down a hill, to help you stop faster supposedly lol. on flat ground, it wont happen. if you are going downhill but you just press the brake lightly, it usually wont happen. only downhill and moderate braking will cause downshift.
try a new road force balance, only certain shops have it and you need to ask for that special type of balancing when you go in.

Grade logic sucks !!
Have someone follow you out onto the highway and look once up to speed at your wheels and tires. See if any are bouncing or wobbling.
