Not another fog light question!!

The factory fogs on my 2004 Ex Coupe are both cracked bad but still working. I would like to replace them with some found off of ebay. The question I have is will ebay lights plug directly into the factory wiring already there and do I have to take the bumper off to do this or is there an easier way? Thanks

Dave

Re: Not another fog light question!!

yeah if you are just replacing the lens assembly, all you do is twist out the old bulb and twist it into the new lens since they should use the same bulb and socket. the fogs should have a way to come out without removing the bumper. check www.handaaccessories.com for the instructions and at the bottom they say how to change the bulbs. but why not make your own lenses out of lexan? just buy a couple pieces from hardware store, cut the shape and use heat to bend them into shape. they are very resistant to rock chips and chances are they will never break.

Im not sure what you meant in the first sentence. I want to buy new foglights (the whole assembly) and replace the old ones, and want to know if the new ones off of ebay will plug right into the factory wiring. Ill look into the lexan thing also.
