Ignition/Shift Box Lights
I have a 2005 civic lx and the ignition and shift lights are not turning on. By shift lights i mean where the shift **** is at and not on the dash (P,N,R,D4,etc). and the ignition light is where you put the key in. I was wondering maybe a fuse went out or something. Any help?

If your other illumination lamps are coming on (heater controls,defrost button) then the fuse is o.k.
Once you take the trim off the socket is on the drivers side, twist left to remove socket and the bulb pulls straight out. Small fingers help when putting socket back in.
