I'm ready for my 10,000 check-up.

Does anyone out there skip these check-ups and do the stuff yourself?

I'd rather just bring the car in for the oil change, and that's it.
I could do the tire rotation and brake inspection myself.

Is Honda going to hassle me about this? If something goes wrong,
will they void my warranty because I didn't allow them to do their
"72 point inspection" (whatever the HECK that is....)?

So what's the deal? Do I shell out $80 for all this crap?

no, they won't. if you can do the tire/brake stuff, you might as well change your own oil IMO
