hello guys,

since yesterday, i cannot get my truck to properly lock/latch in place. when trying to close it the latch seems to engage half way, yet not enough to securely lock the trunk. you can just pull it back open, even going over a speedbump too fast will make it jump back open.

the latch itself seems to fully engage when i manually push it in with a key or so screwdriver to simulate the hook it would latch to, but it just will not work for the trunk...

any ideas & input is much appreciated.

have you tried spraying some lithium grease in the latch? maybe its just getting stuck. or you can move the trunk rubber stoppers by turning them which makes the trunk sit lower or higher. prolly needs to sit lower to engage better. and finally the actual U-hook on the bottom can be moved up and down if needed.
