Alternator Fuse Location?

OK, Sorry to sound like a nO0b but where is the alternator fuse located? My battery light is on and i figuered il try that first.. Thanks.....

It is in the main fuse panel under the hood.

I have gone into the fuse box under the hood, but i do not see a designation for the alternator fuse..

Check #4 = 10 Amp in under dash fuse box.

#19 = 80 Amp and # 20 = 40 Amp in under hood fuse box.

It's just a fuse for the alternator/voltage signal. The main juice to the alternator runs directly off the battery.

its in the fuse box under the steering column. there are two tabs you twist and then you can pull off the under dash cover. look for alternator on the diagram and pull it out
