Base map is only going to get the car started. I would NOT drive the car. Get that thing to a certified tuner ASAP!!!!! If you must drive it it's going to run shitty probably but don't mess with the EMS unless you know what your doing. You can do more harm then good seriously.

LOL - A gain of what 15-20hp? Yeah, N/A without high compression internals isn't going to give you very much more at the wheels.

TAKE YOUR CAR TO ANOTHER TUNER ASAP. Those numbers are too low man trust me. I made 124whp on the emangle. DJmota made 147whp with KPRO and you should be right up there in those numbers with EMS.

Also you should be fine with stock injectors. Ask your tuner what the duty cycle was but I bet they are no where near maxing out. Where was your redline on the dyno. With EMS you can bump it up and make some more power bc with that cam you can still make power above 7000rpms. Don't quit find out why the numbers are low and retune.

They were redlining starting at 7000.

Ya trust me man, the car has more in it. With the EMS you can tune it for w/e pump gas you are running. Full adjustability of ignition timing ect. How are the functions working on your car like the Idle and AC. Also, was the VTEC even working when you did the dyno pull. Please give as much details as possible. I always wanted an EMS and to see how it would run on an N/A car. Does it drive like stock? What are your air fuel ratios at cruise?

I haven't tried my AC yet.
The Idle is good.
Yes the Vtec was working.
It has a problem starting now. it cranks, cranks and cranks some more. Then starts.

Most definitely doesn't drive like stock anymore

ok this sucks and can't be right.
I didn't gain much at all.
I kept thinking that stock HP was 117.

Stock:
127HP SAE @ 6300 rpm; 114 ft lb @ 4800 rpm

Mods:
126.5HP SAE @ 5714 rpm; 119.9 ft Ib @ 5087 rpm

If Stock is 127 then I should be getting like 138 - 145 with all them damn mods

Don't feel bad. 127 is at the crank. You measured hp at the wheels. There is HP loss between the crank and the wheels.

Yeeesh. I wouldn't raise it to 9K without better rods. Our stroke is too long for that, you run a big risk of snapping one of the stock rods.

His cam makes power to 8,000 rpms but I still wound not raise it that high w/o building the bottom end. He may risk spinning a bearing or something else catastrophic. FYI I think Oscar (DJmota) raised his to 7,500 with KPro on the stock bottom end.

I think my next thing is going to be a new CAT and new hood.
after that. Need to pay off the CC some to do more.

engine has to come out to do the bottom end right?

FYI, ditch the cat all together its another restriction lol. Probably why your numbers are so low. As for the bottom end. You'd do right with some maxi light rods and higher compression pistons like 10.5:1 ratio. I would get some aftermarket rod bolts if you want to raise the redline and our stock crank should be sufficient. It might be economical to buy a cheap block from a junkyard and build that so you dont have any downtime. When its built you can just swap it out. Honestly I wouldn't bother building the bottom end. Ditch the cat, bump the redline to 7500, and retune. You'll get better numbers and save money.
