hittin rev limiter...
my friend was racing my car vs. a 93 celica turbo (WE WON!!!)

anyways, he was messing up shifting and was going into the limiter (a lot!)...will this do horrible, if any, to my ride?

I hit mine once so far. It's there to keep you from doing damage. I don't think it would hurt every now and again, but don't make a habit of it.

Happened to me once or twice on the 401.. hit 187km/h fuel cutoff hits.. it's a pain.

there is a company that makes a chip to bypass it, but i wouldn't do it till u upgrade the valvetrain. Don't want valve float or anything...

you can have it reprogrammed to a higher speed......my car shuts off at about 112
