inaccurate fuel gauge
inaccurate fuel gauge
just bought my civic lx coupe in May and now i noticed some flaws..
fuel gauge is probably the main thing.. its not accurate at all.. sometimes it'll tell me i have half a tank left and the next time i start up the car it would say close to 3/4 of a tank left..
i check the TSB and it didnt give me a fix...
ALSO.. my passenger window rattles when music is being played... and its only 1/4 of the max volume... so i have to roll the window down a bit so it stops.
if anyone could help it would greatly be appreciated.

Re: inaccurate fuel gauge
i have an 02 lx and the gauge is accurate most of the time. as far as the window goes i would ask the dealer why its doing that. that would prolly be coverd by your warranty and even if you bought it used you should still have a waranty against defects

He has an 01, so I dont think he has a warranty of any kind left. You probably lost a clip on the back of the pannel and the mounting point is viberating aginst the metal door itsself.

Re: inaccurate fuel gauge
yeah you have to take the fuel tank cover out under the rear seat and prolly spill some gas in the process. but its not easy.
