as the title says my battery light came on!!! soo today i was jus doing some gorcery shopping and i noticed when i started my car my battery light was on..than i turn off the car jus to see if it was me .. than i started it up agian and the battery light was still on... But the wierd thing is when i start to drive the battery light goes off.. soo i went home park my car open the hood to see if there was a lose connection or something but everything was fine... soo about like 10-15 mins later i started up my car.. and the battery light was ON!!!! WTF... than i drive off it goes off.. i was searching on the forums and i didnt really find anyonr with the same problem, i drive a 2003 civic lx coupe wiht about 102km..

seems (to me, at least) that the battery won't hold a charge.. he says the battery light goes away after driving a bit, which leads me to believe that the alternator is doing its job of charging the battery.. just my 2 cents

go to autozone, or similar parts place, and have the whole system tested, its free, and will give u a good idea what is going on, i recently had to replace my alternator, battery, and alternator fuse(like last week)... if u have to replace it, replace both ur belts at the same, itll just be easier on u...

Thanks alot for the help guys ,, it was my alternator, it was acting up... my battery was fine i got it test...had to replace my alternator:s my pockets is looking a lil dry lol ahha
