Help me fix my Civic problems
Help me fix my Civic problems
Hi Guys,
I have a 2001 Honda Civic that I bought a year and a half ago. I never go around to doing much to the car except routine maintenance. However, this summer I wanted to get the little annoying things fixed and out of the way.The first problem is that my passenger side rear panel keep on coming loose. I think the previous owner broke it while messing with speakers back there. Here are some photos below.
Passenger Rear Open:

Passenger Rear closed:

I think some of the white tabs are broken. How should I go about fixing this, I fear on of these days the panel will just snap while driving because it hangs out so much. The driver rear stays fine.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Help me fix the rear panel
On the white tabs look at the sides of them. If they are pushed together they will not hold tight in place, or the expansion tabs may be broken. Try spreading them apart, but don't break them.
The OEM part # is 91560-S5A-A01 It is the same clip used on the door panels.

Hi Guys,
Thanx for all the help above. I need one more thing to fix the look of my civic. The window trim on the driver side is coming out. How should I go about fixing it.

Thanks again,
parminder

Manual said... Remove the mirror, Weatherstrip is lifted straight up to release clips starting at rear. If you want the page from the manual PM with E-Mail. I can send it to you (exceeds 100KB limit for board)
