help with iat sensor connector

i got a 2001 civic ex 2dr. was trying to replace a faulty iat sensor and while disconnecting it, the wires to the sensor plug broke off. is there any way to fix that or where would i go to get a new one? thanks

anybody? anyone know how to disassemble the connector? if i can figure that out i can rerun the wires

Post a pic of how bad it is. Most of those plugs are blow-molded and then have the connectors pressed in, so there really is no taking them apart.

Best bet is take the sensor with you to a junkyard and walk around till you find the Civics, find a plug that fits, and cut it off with enough wire to work with.

yea dont' have a digital camera on me right now. if its any help, its the connector to the iat sensor and the wires broke clean off at their connection at the connector.

Then you're probably going to have to just get a new clip from a junkyard. You could ghetto-fab it with two straight pieces from a paper clip jammed into each connector where they broke and then have the wire soldered on to it - or just wrapped and taped on to the paper clip pieces. But that's obviously only a temporary solution until you replace the clip.

anyone know of a good auto/salvage yard around the galveston or houston, tx area? tried to search for one and all i get is scrap metal yards.
