Cleaned my IACV valve and throttle body this weekend...

I couldnt get it as clean as "bobsagator" did but thanks to his help I managed to get everything cleaned and smooth!

The benefit of cleaning your EGR valve is a MUCH SMOOTHER IDLE and the car even accelerates a little better. Changed my spark plugs too...

the car has 71,000 miles on it.

Any questions, concerns, or comments?

Looks good. What did you use to clean it with? Did you replace the gasket or just re-use the original?

I re used the original gaskett. (it was perfect)

and used carb cleaner to clean it.

I assume you know how to remove your stock air box or aftermarket intake. Correct?

Have any of you guys done the throttle cable tighten trick?

Its to the left of the throttle body.

phisically on the throttle body heald on by three bolts

this pic shows where its monted the best...(see the oppisite side of my thumb)

thats were its mounted

any more questions let me know...

I really think I need that!! I can hear the plate click when i accel a bit. Please find the DIY for this because it is something I want to do. Hopefully it doesn't involve much because i don't want to set any CEL lights on or something
