Hi, I have a '01 4dr EX Automatic...and the car has a problem where over bumps and at about 55-60mph you hear this rattle. Sounds like its coming from the front drivers side, but cant really tell.

It happens at 55mph, put car in Neutral, sound still there. Sound does not change with teh RPMs. Rattle also happens at low speeds over bumps.

I was thinking front struts or engine mounts.

I see this TB # 010601 description talks about this issue, does anyone have a copy of it?

check underneath and see if the heat shield is loose. This happened to me over the summer, there was this constant vibrating/rattling noise coming from the car and it sounded pretty ghetto.

Took it to my friend's shop, showed me the underbody and the mount for the piece had corroded through (Chicago winters = tons of salt on the roads). He just tore it off and the sound went away.
