Overheating Honda 2002 EX Coupe Civic

My car has been over heating, Now I have been to a local radiator shop and the people have changed out my radiator, and replaced a thermostat. I have been looking to make modifications to my honda Like cold air intake, headers you know to add power to the engine. But my main focus is on how to stop the overheating. Now the guy is telling me that its the head gasket. Dont know what to do. Any body have any tips on the tune up and the problem on the over heating. Im in houston texas if anybody knows a good mechanic. I also have to keep feeding my Honda water everytime I stop running the engine. I also have tried all coolant. didnt work.

most likely it is a head gasket. you should have a leak down test done ,and maybe a gas test .it tests for exhaust gases in the radiator. and it will tell you 100% that it is a head gasket problem . if i have helped rep me. and i will do the same . you may be able to rent these tools and do it your self.
try some auto parts stores in your area. ok
