4th spark plug coil oil???

I was checkin my spark plugs to see how the car was running, and found a nasty surprise. I pulled the 4th spark plug coil out to find a small pool of oil sitting at the base of the spark plug, and also the little rubber thing at the end of the coil was ripped off and stuck in the spark plug hole. Is there some sort of tappit gasket? or is this included in a valve cover gasket? if I take it to the dealership will they bend me over? Is it not too difficult of a job?

thanks any help is much appriciated.

-matt

P.S. My car still runs and drives fine........

uhhh

Well the car isn't burning any oil, I don't really think it is anything internal. Just to clarify the oil is on the outside of the sparkplug, the little pool of oil was there before I pulled out the spark plug. It is in the little hole that the spark plug coil goes into. I think that some oil is leaking by the coil pack.

Oh and I got 135,000 km on my car.

Thank you for responding,

-matt

you may have a spark plug tube seal that is faulty causing the leak. if you remove the valve cover you can replace them.

ok, I will have to look into it pretty soon. Just removing the valve cover shouldn't be too difficult.

Thanks for the help!

Make sure when you get the new valve cover coil gaskets you but them in and put the cover on in the correct tighting sequance and torque.
