Either shock or spring bad need advice
I have a set of Tokico D Spec shocks with the matched tokico spring. It's been on for about 5 months and when I took the car to get a new set of tires 205/45/17 put in from the dealer I got it back with the rear tire literally up against the fender with no gap. The other side has about a 2 finger gap. I'm wondering if thats due to a bad shock or spring. I checked the shock and there are no leaks but the spring is totally compressed. All the coils are next to each other. Did the spring go bad on me? That side is also bottoming out on every little bump. Sorry for the stupid question but I just wanted some advice.
thanks,
P

Sounds weird, got pix?
If it is bad; at least it is in the rear and easier to remove and replace.
If the strut is bad sounds like you might still be under warrenty from Tokico.
