rattle when AC is on
rattle when AC is on
just recently i noticed a rattling sound coming from the inside of the driver's side hood (closer to the front, drivers side fender) when i turn on my AC. but the rattling only occurs sometimes when the AC is off, but not as much as when the AC is on. what could it be?? im guessing wires that are vibrating off the firewall. im not to sure. any ideas??

I've had the same problem, and come to the conclusion that it was the hood latch.
Check to see if yours is loose. I'm not sure how to tighten it (since it looks like they basically riveted it onto the frame), but ive stuck a couple sheets of paper folded up to take the slack out of it, and now it doesnt rattle anymore.
hope this helps

I was just gonna say that! There are rubber stoppers on each side that you can twist counterclockwise. It will make the hood sit higher and tighter. Just don't do too much or the hood won't match with the body (will be raised too much when closed).
