help headlight problems
i noticed yesterday that my low beams would not come on. so all fuses are good and bulbs are good. honda said that my car was not on the recall list. so right before they went out i smelled a wire burning smell inside the car. I have searched for this on here but no real clear cut way on how to fix it. i checked the headlight terminals with a circuit checker and the passenger side all three prongs showed current but on the driver side only one showed current and one showed a slight current and the other was dead. i think it is either the hi/lo switch or the low beam wire is burned up like another guys on here....so if anyone can walk me through on how to repair it or tell me some other things it might be i would be grateful

Some 02s are affected by the recall as well ----> http://www.geocities.com/pfeifferper...ghtharness.pdf
I would have them check again.
The headlights are supplied power and grounded to operate through the switch. Low beam = Pin 6 (RED/WHT wire color) is most likely what they look at. The switch is an easy replacement once you get the column covers off.

Once the covers are off there is only 2 screws holding the switch in place, it will then slide out and disconnect connector.
I would inspect the wire and the connector near pin 6 for signs of overheating. It could also be a problem.
