Paint Issue...NEED HELP
Alright, so I go down to Ocean City for the weekend with my friends, take his new G35 and I leave my car at home in my driveway. I completely forgot my deck and fence were being stained and of course it was windy when the workers did the fence. So I have a nice NBP Civic covered in a nice coat of Oil Based Wood Stain thanks to the wind. I was able to take a little off the windshield and windows with a textured cloth, but I'm afraid to touch the paint with something that may leave scratches. I know the guy that did the job and I really don't want to screw him over with a huge price to get this fixed. I'm perfectly content with taking it off myself and getting a little money back from him for my fence. So...any suggestions.

Ouch, I hope you had a good coat of wax on the car.
Personally I would try a clay bar first.
There are several brands available. I have personally used the Clay Magic and i liked it. They are not too cheap, usually between 10 and 20 bucks at most parts stores. They work on most car surfaces like paint, glass and plastic.
If that does not work then I would reccomend a quality polish (Maguires or Mothers) with a microfiber towel and a light touch.
Good luck!
