I need some help tring to figure this one. I hit a pothole or something in the road about 2 months ago and i think it was the reason my srs light came on. I did the diy a few times and it worked,but after 2 hours or a day or two it comes back on. I checked the wire harnesses under the seats and there all fine. I also checked the manual a saw where all the airbag sensors are. Is there anyway to scan this light to see where the problem is coming, i really dont want to bring it to a dealer

Your going to have to bring it to the dealer to trace the code, but if you can find out you can probably replace whatever it is yourself. Probably a sensor under the front bumper, there is one on each side. But if the code dont clear after it is fixed the dealer will have to.

Thanks, i reset it again and its been off for about five days now so i dont know whats wrong with it.
