Rep Power: 0 NO HEAT ON MY FEET
Hey, its the old man!!! I took my EX to the dealer so they can look into why I have no heat coming out the floor vents. I have an EX 2-door with AEM CAI, DC sports ceramic header and Thermal rear section, as if that matters!
I got no heat coming out the floor and when I zip my 42 mile ride to work in the weeee hours with temps near 0 my feet get a little chilly.
The dealer told me that I had to close the side vents, punch the re-circulate button and blast it away. My first thought was that this was BS and I was being dismissed. But I'll have to see!
Is the a design flaw???? Does anyone else have this problem? You young bucks probably don't get cold feet like me.
LET ME KNOW!

Rep Power: 0 Can't say I have experience that problem.
However, I figured Young Boys would get cold feet lot more than the older fellas. Figured the older fellas would be used to it by now! LoL

Rep Power: 0 No, it's not just you. My feet vents are *** weak too. Stuck my hand down there once, and barely felt anything even with the feet setting on full. Gonna try closing the side vents next time.

Rep Power: 0 thanks for feedback. This dealership ain't bad. At first I thought it was BS but I think the 7thGen needs a tweak or two. I still like the car.

Rep Power: 0 that has happened to me... but what i've found was that if you just turn the dial to floor only and put it on heat... it'll blast your feet with some heat... well thats what i had to do!!

Rep Power: 0 hey old man. Ya i have the same problem too. i will ev en blast the bottem vents and its like where the heck is the heat. I think it is a flaw because when i went to figure it out the vent aims up higher then where ur feet sit so the vent does work they just need to fix the vent and aim them lower.

Rep Power: 0 Whenever I have a passenger he or she says that they can feel the heat on their feet. For some reason I can't feel it on the drivers side. Strange....

Rep Power: 0 it happened to me too, but whenever i press on the clutch then i feel the warm air blowing, i think it's just the location of the vents, and warm air usually goes up... if the fan is not strong enough... it'll rises before it hit your legs
just an idea

Rep Power: 0 I've noticed the same thing; I guess it's just the way the car is designed.
On the good side, the top vents are in perfect position to be mini hand warmers.

Rep Power: 0 It's official, no heat on the feat was part of the design of civic. I have the same problem. My dealer told me it was operating normally. I then took in a high speed thermometer which showed the dash and defroster ant 130degrees and the floor vent in the fifties.
They brought out another 2001 civic and it did the same thing. They suggested calling Honda USA. After many phone calls they closed my case saying the car had no defects and was working as designed.
So maybe floor heat was an option I didn't know about...
